Volunteer / Visitors Policy

We will always treat volunteers with fairness and respect and pay tribute to the valuable service that they offer.

We will not discriminate in any way between paid and unpaid workers.

We depend upon a number of volunteers in order to enhance the quality of service that we can offer:

Our Practice towards Volunteers is
1. To delegate volunteers to be responsible for certain tasks.

2. Volunteers will always be asked to undertake an Enhanced CRB check or to provide a reference to say that they are suitable to work with children

3. All volunteers will be encouraged to participate in any activities.

4. All volunteers will have an induction when they arrive at HCCH.

Our Expectations of Volunteers is
1. To read and follow the guidelines provided at the induction.

2. To treat HCCH and the people who live there with respect at all times.

3. If you wish to buy gifts or donations please discuss with Manager and do not buy expensive presents for individual children.

4. Your stay here is valuable but it is temporary and should be no more than three months.

5. Experience sharing , networking is most welcome aspects to improve the HCCH

6. Be a collaborative, coordinative and supportive in all activities of HCCH

7. Treat well and your activities should be gear to cultivate good attitude, well disciplined habits and impressive teaching of the children's

8. Alcoholic drinks & smoking are strictly prohibited during your stay as a volunteer in HCCH.

9. The volunteer should be dress up in normal with acceptable limits of our culture and traditions while nudity is strictly prohibited at the HCCH

10. The male volunteers and staffs are not permitted to visit ladies children room unless approval taken from manager.

11. The volunteer should follow the schedule time frame of HCCH during its operations. Delay in arrival (entry), loud chatting, hearing music's are completely prohibited except pre approval on particular occasion.

12. During your stay, please inform three hours earlier to the main Cook if you don't want to take lunch or dinner at the HCCH.
